What You Get

What Sports Care Includes.

Sports injuries don't live in one joint. A shoulder injury almost always has a scapular and thoracic component. An ankle sprain changes how you walk, which stresses your knee and hip. Good sports chiropractic treats the whole chain, not just the painful spot.

  • Functional movement assessment. We watch you squat, lunge, hinge, and move through sport-specific patterns to identify the actual breakdown.
  • Spinal and extremity adjustments. Shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, feet - every joint that moves.
  • Soft-tissue therapy. Myofascial release, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), trigger-point work to break down adhesions and restore tissue quality.
  • Taping and support. RockTape / kinesiology taping for support and proprioception when you're returning to activity.
  • Rehab progression. Specific strengthening and movement drills to progress you from rehab to full training.

Why Athletes Choose This Approach.

Athletes don't want "come back in six months when it stops hurting." They want a timeline, a plan, and someone who understands the sport well enough to modify training instead of stopping it entirely.

  • We don't just say "rest." We work with you to modify loading so tissue can heal while you keep training in some capacity.
  • We treat root cause. That chronic hamstring tweak? It's almost never a hamstring problem. We look at pelvis, lumbar spine, and muscle balance.
  • We coordinate with your coaches. If you have a trainer, a PT, or a sport coach, we'll loop them in.

Our Process.

  1. Consult and exam. Injury history, sport demands, functional movement screen.
  2. Plan. Clear return-to-play timeline.
  3. Active care. 2–3x per week in the acute phase, tapering as you recover.
  4. Return-to-sport testing. We don't clear you until you can hit sport-specific movement standards without compensation.
  5. Maintenance (optional). Monthly or bi-monthly sessions to prevent recurrence.

Pricing.

Free consultation. New-patient exam $60–$120. Injury care plans typically run 6–12 visits over 4–8 weeks depending on severity. Cash-pay athlete pricing available for those without coverage.

FAQ

Athlete Questions.

What sports injuries do you treat?

Shoulder impingement, tennis/golfer's elbow, wrist sprains, lower-back strain, hamstring and quadriceps injuries, IT band syndrome, knee tracking issues, ankle sprains, and plantar fasciitis - plus the general stiffness and compensation patterns that come with hard training.

Can chiropractic adjust extremities, not just the spine?

Yes. We adjust shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and even small joints in the foot. Most chiropractors are trained in extremity technique but not all use it regularly - we do, especially for athletes.

How fast can I get back to training?

It depends on the injury and your sport, but most athletes with soft-tissue injuries return to modified training in 1–2 weeks and full training in 3–6 weeks. We coordinate with your coach or team trainer when relevant.

Do you do performance work too, not just injury?

Yes. Some athletes come in purely for maintenance - keeping joints mobile, muscles balanced, and compensation patterns from developing. A monthly or bi-monthly visit is common for competitive athletes.
